Project Life Tuesday: Week Five

9 Feb

I thought that I had done a really bad job taking pictures this week. Once I uploaded them to my computer, I realized that I had a photo for each day. Nothing too exciting. It was a busy week, so life at home was pretty relaxed.

February 1 - It was a grocery shopping week. To help save money and eat better, I do a lot of prep work for the trip.

February 2 - Jason is now obsessed with the show White Collar on USA. Tuesday nights, he's fixated on the TV.

February 3 - I got an iPhone this past fall. I love it!

February 4 - This is the real Thea. There are no words.

February 5 - Jason's work banquet was tonight. It was a "Night at the Races" where we bet on fake horse races.

February 6 - For Christmas, I adopted Jason a caribou. His stuffed caribou now resides in the living room.

February 7 - My mom gave me some brass pieces that my great-great aunt brought back from Pakistan back in the early 1900s. Just need to polish them up!

I created our list after reading about the idea in Real Simple. To create it, we took a slightly longer grocery shopping trip making note of the aisles where items were located – those on our list plus common things we would buy. I then organized a list by aisles using Excel. Now, I have the printouts ready and can highlight the things we need to buy. It makes grocery shopping much easier.
